Location:
The forest that I observed is located behind my house in Seneca, South Carolina. It is situated in the temperate forest biome and is located approximately 960 feet above sea level. The forest spans multiple miles, but the part that I focused on is about two acres wide.
Description:
There is a creek that flows through the forest. The creek is about 1-2 feet wide in most places but there are definitely some wider spots. It ranges in depth from a few inches to a few feet. There are many large rocks and deep cove areas in the creek.
